Head of Corporate / Commercial Law (Lawyer only), Saudi Arabi, Middle East, UAE

Ellis Wake continues to do well in Saudi Arabia and this role echoes the well publicised growth in the area.

We now brings to the market a rare head of corporate / commercial senior role.

You maybe an associate or (likely) a partner, but you must have some seniority re management and look to lead from the front (the word 'lead' is very important to this business.

You must be Common Law / England Wales qualified and from a traditional ME / Dubai / KSA / UK / London / Canada / Aus background.

The successful candidate needs to have at least 2 years on the ground in the ME.

You will advise clients on corporate law matters, including M&A transactions, joint ventures, restructurings, and corporate governance.

Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements and transaction documents.

Lead legal due diligence exercises and manage transaction execution.

You will also provide regulatory and compliance advice under Saudi Arabian laws and regulations, where possible.

You will support cross-border transactions involving international investors and multinational corporations and manage client relationships and serve as a trusted legal advisor to senior stakeholders.

It is likely you will have a minimum of 6 years' experience in corporate and commercial law.

As above, experience working in the Middle East or Saudi Arabia is an obvious advantage but not always essential, but this will be measured on a case be case basis.

English required; Arabic language skills are very highly desirable.
