Requirement

  • Minimum **20 years** of progressive accounting and finance experience.
  • At least **10 years** in a managerial role overseeing Fixed Assets and Inventory Accounting.
  • Minimum **10 years** of experience within the **Healthcare/Hospital** sector.
  • Minimum **5 years** of experience in the **Government/Public Sector**.
  • At least **5 years** of accounting experience in **Qatar**.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale fixed asset registers, inventory accounting, capital projects, and financial controls.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Fixed Assets and Inventory Accounting function.
  • Ensure accurate capitalization, depreciation, disposal, and reconciliation of fixed assets in compliance with IFRS and organizational policies.
  • Oversee inventory accounting processes, stock valuation, and inventory controls.
  • Ensure timely month-end and year-end financial closing activities related to fixed assets and inventory.
  • Maintain compliance with IFRS, internal controls, audit requirements, and statutory regulations.
  • Collaborate with procurement, supply chain, engineering, finance, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate asset and inventory records.
  • Drive process improvements and enhance financial reporting through ERP systems.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team while ensuring effective resource planning and performance management.

Technical Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with **Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS)**.
  • Working knowledge of **Oracle ERP, SAP**, or other enterprise resource planning systems.
  • Thorough understanding of **IFRS**, Fixed Asset Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and financial reporting.
  • Advanced proficiency in **Microsoft Excel**, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
