Primary purpose
Lead Instrumentation/Telecom and Electrical engineering input for offshore facilities on the NFA Sustainability Project.
Support design, procurement, fabrication, construction, installation, testing, and commissioning in line with project requirements, specifications, and international standards.
Ensure successful project execution on time and within budget.
Experience and qualifications
- At least 15 years of Instrumentation & Control Engineering design experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
- At least 10 years of experience on offshore Oil & Gas processing facilities projects.
- At least 7 years as Lead Discipline Engineer, with adequate exposure to Telecom and Electrical engineering design.
- Full familiarity with Shell DEPs, international design codes and standards, Instrument and Electrical engineering software, and design review processes.
- Familiarity with FEED and EPIC deliverables, equipment, and design and construction progress reviews.
- Proven ability to manage a discipline engineering team in a major project environment.
- Strong technical, planning, communication, reporting, and leadership skills; fluency in English.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Instrumentation & Control or Electrical and Electronics Engineering from a recognized university; a higher degree is advantageous.
- Chartered Engineer / Professional Engineer status or equivalent is preferred.
