The Head Chef will lead the kitchen team, maintain food standards, and deliver a strong dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily kitchen operations and manage kitchen workflow and schedules.
- Create and maintain menus and dishes; introduce new dishes and improve culinary offerings.
- Supervise, train, and develop kitchen staff.
- Maintain food quality, presentation, portion standards, hygiene, food safety, and health standards.
- Manage food preparation, inventory, purchasing, stock levels, costs, waste, and kitchen budgets.
- Coordinate with restaurant management and front-of-house teams.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of professional kitchen experience.
- Previous experience as a Head Chef, Executive Chef, or Sous Chef.
- Strong food safety and kitchen hygiene knowledge, leadership and team-management skills, creativity in menu development and presentation, and organizational and cost-control abilities.
- A culinary diploma or relevant professional qualification is preferred.
- UAE or international hospitality experience is an advantage.
