Head Barista – Doha, Qatar
We are currently looking for an experienced and highly motivated **Head Barista** to join our growing café team in Doha.
This is a permanent full-time position for someone passionate about coffee quality, team leadership, operations, and customer experience.
Requirements
- Minimum **2 years experience as a Senior Barista or Head Barista**
- Currently based in Qatar preferred
- Must be ready to join immediately or within **1 month notice period**
- **Transferable visa is mandatory**
- Strong knowledge of:
- Espresso extraction
- Milk texturing & latte art
- Manual brewing methods
- Coffee calibration & dialing in
- Beverage costing and recipe consistency
- Leadership and communication skills required
- Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays
Main Responsibilities
- Lead daily bar operations and maintain beverage quality standards
- Train, supervise, and monitor baristas and service staff
- Conduct coffee calibration and recipe standardization
- Manage inventory, stock ordering, wastage control, and monthly counts
- Coordinate with suppliers and follow up on deliveries
- Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety compliance
- Monitor staff performance and improve workflow efficiency
- Support management in achieving sales and revenue targets
- Develop seasonal drinks and improve menu performance
- Handle customer feedback professionally
- Assist in opening/closing procedures and operational reporting
Qualification
- Do you have experience as a Senior Barista or Head Barista?
- Do you know how to train new baristas?
- Do you know how to manage inventory and supplier?
- Can you handle rush-hour operation?
- Are you currently in Qatar?
- Do you have a transferable visa?
