Hardware Production Technician

Key Responsibilities
Hardware Production: Assemble, wire, program, test, and troubleshoot low-voltage data acquisition hardware (Voltlets).
Quality Control: Follow SOPs, wiring diagrams, and QC processes to ensure consistent and reliable hardware.
Order Fulfillment: Prepare and package hardware for deployment to customer sites and maintain accurate records in internal systems.
Cross-Functional Support: Work with Project Engineers to fulfill hardware orders and troubleshoot field hardware issues.
Process Improvement: Maintain production documentation and identify opportunities to improve quality, reliability, and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education & Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent and 2–3 years of relevant assembly or manufacturing experience; technical certifications, vocational training, or an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in electrical, electronics, manufacturing, engineering technology, or a related field preferred.
- Core Competencies: Detail-oriented, dependable, self-directed, analytical, and accountable, with strong communication and organizational skills.
- Technical Experience: Experience with low-voltage electrical systems, wiring diagrams, hand tools, and basic hardware troubleshooting.
- Systems & Software: Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience accurately maintaining records in digital systems.
- Preferred Skills: Experience with ERP or CRM systems, Salesforce, manufacturing work orders, inventory processes, telemetry or hardware configuration platforms, and SOP documentation.
- Physical Requirements: Combination of sitting and standing, use of a pallet jack, and occasionally lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds safely.
