Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Handyman, Painter, Maintenance Technician, or similar role, preferably in a 5-star hotel.
- Strong practical knowledge of painting, surface preparation, and finishing techniques.
- Good knowledge of general building maintenance and minor repair works.
- Practical skills in basic carpentry, plumbing, tiling, plastering, and other handyman tasks.
- Ability to carry out high-quality painting and touch-up works with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of different types of paints, primers, coatings, and appropriate application methods.
- Ability to identify maintenance defects and carry out suitable repairs.
- Good understanding of workplace health and safety procedures.
- Ability to safely handle and store paints, chemicals, tools, and equipment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with a positive and professional attitude.
- Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a multicultural Engineering team.
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, public holidays, and after-hours when required.
- Strong commitment to the “Yes I Can!” service philosophy and maintaining the high standards expected in a 5-star hotel.
