Position overview

Location and arrangements

• Position is in a private household in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
• Live-in accommodation and meals are provided.
• The client will arrange a work visa and relocation for a candidate who is not local.

Qualifications and experience

• Moroccan Arabic is mandatory.
• Knowledge of appropriate hygiene, sanitation, and health and safety procedures.
• Familiarity with Hammam products including black soap, Kessa gloves, and Ghassoul clay.
• Strong personal hygiene and grooming, attention to detail, and a professional, respectful manner.
• Able to follow instructions, maintain confidentiality, work as part of a team, and work in a warm, humid Hammam environment.
• Spa, wellness, Hammam, or massage therapy training is highly regarded.
• Prior Moroccan Hammam, massage therapy, or luxury spa experience is advantageous.
• Knowledge of Moroccan Hammam rituals, products, and preparation is advantageous.

Duties and responsibilities

• Assist the Hammam Masseur with preparing and delivering traditional Moroccan Hammam treatments.
• Prepare treatment rooms, equipment, supplies, black soap, Kessa gloves, Ghassoul clay, towels, and other products.
• Assist with treatments as instructed by the qualified Masseur.
• Clean and sanitize rooms and equipment; maintain hygiene and presentation standards throughout Hammam and spa areas.
• Replenish products, towels, and supplies; monitor stock and advise the supervisor when items need replenishment.
• Prepare the Hammam area before household members or guests arrive.
• Maintain grooming and personal hygiene, and respect the privacy, dignity, and confidentiality of household members and guests.
• Follow health, safety, sanitation, hygiene, and operational procedures; provide discreet, courteous, professional service.
• Follow instructions from the Hammam Masseur and Spa Supervisor and assist with other reasonable spa preparation duties.

Salary and benefits

• Salary is AED 7,500 per month.
• Live-in accommodation and meals are provided.
