Hair Extension Specialist
About This Role
We are seeking a skilled Hair Extension Specialist to provide high-quality hair extension services, including consultation, application, styling, maintenance, and removal. The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a passion for helping clients achieve their desired look while maintaining healthy hair.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough client consultations to assess hair type, condition, and desired results
- Recommend suitable hair extension methods (e.g., tape-in, keratin bond, micro-link, sew-in)
- Apply hair extensions using professional techniques and tools
- Cut, blend, and style extensions for a seamless and natural appearance
- Perform maintenance services such as repositioning, tightening, and cleaning
- Safely remove extensions without damaging natural hair
- Educate clients on aftercare, maintenance routines, and recommended products
- Maintain a clean, hygienic, and organized workstation in line with salon standards
- Keep up to date with industry trends, techniques, and products
Requirements
- Certification or training in hair extensions or cosmetology
- Proven experience applying multiple extension methods
- Strong understanding of different hair types and textures
- Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a salon or beauty studio environment
- Existing client base (for senior roles)
- Knowledge of premium hair brands and products
Working Conditions
- Salon or freelance environment
- Standing for extended periods
- Use of professional styling tools and chemicals
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED4,500.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
