Gypsum carpenter - interior fitout

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Install gypsum board partitions, false ceilings, and bulkheads.
• Carry out gypsum framing, metal stud fixing, and ceiling suspension work.
• Execute decorative gypsum designs, ceiling features, and architectural details.
• Cut, fit, joint, and finish gypsum boards.
• Repair plasterboard, carry out patchwork, and prepare surfaces.
• Perform basic painting, putty, sanding, and finishing when required.
• Read basic interior drawings and take site measurements.
• Perform other multi-skilled interior fit-out activities as required.
• Ensure accurate measurements, efficient material use, and quality finishing.
• Complete assigned work within project deadlines.
• Follow site safety procedures and supervisor instructions.

Requirements

• UAE/GCC interior fit-out experience is mandatory.
• Strong practical knowledge of gypsum partitions and false ceiling systems.
• Must be multi-skilled in interior fit-out, including basic painting and finishing.
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Good understanding of measurements, levels, alignment, and finishing quality.
• Residential, commercial, office, and retail fit-out experience is preferred.
• Must be physically fit and capable of working at project sites.
• Immediate joiners are preferred.

Compensation

• The description lists salary as AED 1,800–2,200 and pay as AED 1,600–2,200 per month.
