Full-time, permanent Gypsum Carpenter position in Dubai.
The work covers surface preparation and finishing as well as fabrication, maintenance, alteration, and repair of walls and related structures.
Responsibilities
- Apply primers, sealers, and finishes; remove old coatings when needed.
- Prepare, clean, and tape jobsites; move materials and clear debris.
- Mix colors or oils to achieve the required color or consistency.
- Prepare, clean, and polish surfaces with suitable hand or power tools.
- Supervise fabrication and maintain, alter, and repair walls, sidewalks, curbs, floors, counters, showers, and related surfaces.
- Estimate materials and labor and fill expansion joints with suitable caulking.
- Lay out patterns, forms, or foundations according to plans.
Requirements
- At least 5–6 years of relevant GCC experience.
- Two years of carpentry experience is preferred.
- Must be able to commute reliably to Dubai or plan to relocate before starting work.
Compensation
- Salary is AED 1,500–2,000 per month, with overtime.
Workplace
- Work is in person in Dubai.
