Gym & Wellness Director

Overview

• The Gym & Wellness Director will lead the development and operation of Earth Riyadh’s wellness offering, creating a space that goes beyond fitness to become part of everyday life.
• This role oversees the full wellness ecosystem, including gym operations, classes, recovery facilities, memberships, and revenue streams.
• From pre-opening through ongoing operations, the Director will be responsible for building a commercially strong and culturally relevant concept aligned with Earth Hotels’ identity.
• It requires a balance of operational discipline and creative thinking, with a strong understanding of financials and experience in building or managing fitness or wellness concepts, alongside the ability to drive both performance and engagement.
• What on Earth Will You Do?
• Lead the development and pre-opening setup of the gym and wellness facilities, including studios and recovery areas.
• Define and implement the overall wellness concept in alignment with Earth Hotels’ brand.
• Develop and manage membership models, pricing strategies, and packages.
• Build and oversee the department’s budget, P&L, and financial forecasting.
• Identify and drive additional revenue streams, including personal training, classes, partnerships, retail, and events.
• Design and implement a dynamic class schedule and wellness programming.
• Establish partnerships with trainers, instructors, and wellness practitioners.
• Recruit, train, and lead the wellness team, ensuring high performance and strong team culture.
• Set and maintain service standards that align with Earth Hotels’ values and guest experience expectations.
• Monitor performance metrics, utilisation, and member engagement, and take action to optimise results.
• Ensure seamless integration of wellness into the overall guest journey in collaboration with other departments.
• Create a strong local community through memberships and activations.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the gym and wellness facilities.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Work closely with Founders, Operations, and property teams to ensure alignment and execution.
• Support sustainability initiatives and responsible operational practices.
