Group-IT Platform Engineer

Role overview

Platform and cloud networking

• Manage and troubleshoot the enterprise cloud platform.
• Manage Azure VNets, subnets, NSGs, UDRs, VPN Gateway, and VNet Peering.
• Implement and maintain IaaS, PaaS, Layer 4 and Layer 7 load balancing, and cloud networking.
• Establish platform and reference architecture and support change management.

Identity, security, and recovery

• Implement Entra ID authentication, authorization, SSO, B2C, and role-based access.
• Implement data permissions, document-level security, and secure access to internal documents and knowledge sources.
• Implement security controls and support vulnerability remediation.
• Manage Azure Site Recovery and other backup and disaster recovery solutions; test backups and recovery, perform failover and failback, and meet recovery objectives.

Operations and documentation

• Troubleshoot infrastructure incidents in cloud environments.
• Maintain infrastructure documentation, architecture and network diagrams, standards, and operational procedures.

Experience and qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of experience with cloud platforms such as IaaS, PaaS, or NaaS.
• Azure certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-305, or AI-200/300, Linux or Windows certification, and development experience are advantageous.
• Good communication, adaptability, and leadership skills are requested.
