The role processes global and international payrolls and supports payroll implementation, client service, and team guidance.
Key duties and responsibilities
- Process global and international payrolls, seeking guidance when required.
- Research payroll-related issues and assist with new payroll implementations.
- Support Global Partners, attend client meetings when required, and maintain cultural awareness.
- Maintain country payroll knowledge libraries and accurate client process manuals.
- Develop knowledge of global payroll systems and related software.
- Provide first-line guidance to trainees and assistants.
- Investigate and resolve payroll correspondence and complex client or employee helpdesk queries.
Experience and qualifications
- Relevant experience in payroll or a related operational role; interest in developing global and international payroll expertise.
- Experience with multiple stakeholders or international teams is beneficial.
- Strong organisation, time management, communication, attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently, use initiative, meet tight deadlines, and build effective working relationships.
