Role overview

Technical leadership and portfolio

• Define technical operations, standards, and architecture for legal capabilities across the firm.
• Create and deliver the Legal portfolio’s vision, strategy, and outcomes with the Legal Portfolio.
• Align legal platforms, including contract lifecycle management, conflicts clearing, matter management, and knowledge management.
• Monitor legal technology, agentic AI, and automation trends and identify opportunities.
• Ensure legal technology programs advance portfolio risk, compliance, and commercial goals.
• Escalate issues spanning teams or systems and drive alignment and resolution.

Standards and team leadership

• Guide platform and vendor selection, delivery trade-offs, SDLC practices, and technology and AI quality metrics.
• Lead chapter leads and specialists across Software Engineering and AI, SaaS Engineering, Quality Assurance, Data, and L2 Operations.
• Partner with enterprise architecture, data, risk, security, and compliance governance teams.
• Collaborate across Legal, Technology, Data, and business functions to align solutions with enterprise principles.
