In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of surgical procedures, providing perioperative care, and ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
We seek a skilled surgeon committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Perform general surgical procedures including elective and emergency surgeries
- Manage preoperative assessments, plan surgical interventions, and provide postoperative care
- Collaborate closely with anesthesiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals in patient management
- Monitor patient recovery, diagnose and manage surgical complications promptly
- Educate patients and their families about operative procedures, risks, and post-surgical care
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records documenting surgical procedures and patient progress
- Continuously update knowledge of surgical techniques and best practices through ongoing professional development
Requirements
- Medical degree with specialization in General Surgery from a recognized institution
- Board certification or equivalent qualification in General Surgery
- Valid medical license to practice in Sharjah or the UAE
- Solid experience in performing a range of general surgical procedures
- Strong understanding of perioperative management and patient care protocols
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team-based healthcare environment
- Ability to manage emergency situations calmly and efficiently
