This is a full-time, on-site General Practitioner role based in Abu Dhabi.

The General Practitioner will be responsible for providing primary and family medicine care, diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions, and offering timely and personalized patient care.

Daily tasks include conducting clinical evaluations, performing routine check-ups, prescribing treatments, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure quality care.

The role also involves guiding and advising patients on preventive healthcare and maintaining comprehensive health records.

· Monitors vital signs during treatments and adapt plans to maintain patient comfort.

· Keeps a detailed record of medical conditions and histories to provide best-in-class and individualized care.

· Implement therapeutic regiments involving medications and other interventions to mitigate symptoms and prevent reoccurrence.

· Diagnosis and treatment of mental illnesses such as depression, stress, anxiety and burnout with regular counselling sessions with or without medications

· Periodic screening and management of common illnesses such as high blood pressure, diabetes, asthma, and high cholesterol level with screening for common cancers and diseases.

· Managing post covid19 symptoms known as long Covid such as headaches, cough, loss of smell and taste, chronic fatigue syndrome, chronic cough, stress, low mood and depression

· Managing Digestive system diseases such as irritable bowel syndrome, h. pylori gastritis, acute and chronic diarrhoea or constipation and heartburn.

· Managing acute and chronic illnesses such as headache, back pain, dizziness, vertigo, abdominal pain, joints pain, diabetes, hypertension and high blood pressure, eczema, skin diseases, acne, asthma and allergic rhinitis

· Provide childcare and well child visits as well as treatment of common illnesses such as abdominal pain, headaches, nappy rash, and constipation in children, skin diseases, ear infections and Urinary tract infections.

· Allergies and food allergies and intolerance management.

· Teams with other physicians, specialists and health care providers to provide well-rounded care for complex cases.

Designs individualized plans with patients for chronic and acute illnesses, working closely with insurance companies, specialists and care providers for best-in-class treatments.

· Educates patients on treatment options for various illnesses, collaborating with specialists to provide thorough education.

· Collaborates with nurses to triage and prioritize patients in high-pressure situations, making rapid and effective decisions.

· Consults with patients about special needs, cares and concerns throughout treatments.

· Advise patients on post-treatment care options, at-home plans and effective rehabilitation.

· Identifies serious conditions and emergency situations and immediately referred to hospital for prompt care.

· Classify and design treatment plans for disorders involving cardiovascular, endocrine and other internal systems.
