General Manager – Saudi Arabia (ELV / EPC / Infrastructure)
Full-time \| Executive Leadership Role
An established European company is launching its Saudi Arabian subsidiary to support the growing demand for ELV, low-current, and infrastructure projects across the Kingdom.
Backed by an existing international business, the new operation will focus on building a strong local presence within Saudi Arabia’s rapidly expanding mega-project and infrastructure market.
We are looking for a highly commercial and entrepreneurial General Manager to lead this expansion.
This role is suited for someone who understands how to build business in Saudi Arabia, develop high-level relationships, and position a company within major project ecosystems.
About the Company
The company is an international player with an established presence in Europe and is now expanding into Saudi Arabia through a newly created local entity.
The Saudi operation will focus on opportunities within:
• Security Systems & CCTV
- Access Control
- ICT Infrastructure
- Structured Cabling
• Integrated Infrastructure Solutions
- Target sectors include:
- Mega-projects & smart cities
- Stadiums & sports infrastructure
- Hospitality developments
- Airports & transportation
- Government infrastructure
- Commercial real estate and mixed-use projects
- The objective is to build a scalable and sustainable operation capable of supporting large and complex projects across the Kingdom.
The Role
As General Manager, you will be responsible for establishing and growing the Saudi business.
You will lead commercial development, market positioning, relationship management, and early-stage operational growth.
The role requires someone capable of opening doors, building trust with key stakeholders, and converting opportunities into awarded business.
This is a hands-on leadership role combining business development, strategic growth, and market expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and grow the Saudi Arabia subsidiary
- Build relationships with developers, consultants, investors, PMCs, and contractors
- Create and manage the commercial pipeline
- Lead strategic business development initiatives
- Drive tendering and bid strategy activities
- Represent the company at senior industry level
- Identify opportunities linked to mega-projects and infrastructure developments
- Build and scale the local team over time
- Support long-term positioning within the Saudi market
- Drive sustainable revenue growth
Experience
- 15+ years of experience within ELV, EPC, infrastructure, system integration, or related industries
- Previous leadership experience as:
- General Manager
- Country Manager
- Commercial Director
Industry Background
Strong experience within:
• ELV / Low Current Systems
- Security Systems
- ICT Infrastructure
- Smart Buildings
Market Exposure
- Strong understanding of the Saudi Arabian market
- Proven experience with complex projects and stakeholder environments
- Familiarity with:
- Tendering and prequalification processes
- Consultants and PMCs
- Government and semi-government entities
- Major developers and infrastructure programs
Network
- An existing network within Saudi Arabia is highly important.
- Direct relationships with:
- Mega-project developers
- PIF ecosystem stakeholders
- Sports and stadium infrastructure programs
- Consultants and PMCs
- Main contractors and system integrators
- will be considered a strong advantage.
Languages
- Arabic required
- Strong English required
