Role Description
The General Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
This role includes managing and mentoring the local team, optimizing workflows, and coordinating with international partners and vendors to deliver seamless concierge and travel experiences.
Regular client interaction, issue resolution, and strategic decision-making are central to this position.
Qualifications
- **Minimum of five (5) years of proven experience in a General Manager, Operations Manager, or senior leadership role within the hospitality, tourism, travel, concierge, or service industry.**
- Fluency in both English and Arabic, spoken and written, is mandatory. Proficiency in additional languages, particularly French, Russian, or other international languages, will be considered a significant asset.
- Operational management skills, including workflow optimization, process improvement, and performance monitoring.
- Client relationship management and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and maintain high levels of discretion.
- Business and financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and basic P&L understanding.
- Experience in luxury hospitality, travel, concierge services, or a related high-touch service industry.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple complex requests simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, client-driven environment and adapting quickly to changing priorities.
- Strong knowledge of corporate governance, operational procedures, customer service excellence, and business process optimization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and relevant business management systems.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic business environment.
- Entrepreneurial mindset combined with strong corporate management capabilities.
- Results-oriented with a proactive and hands-on approach to leadership.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.
- Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering service excellence and maintaining long-term business relationships.
- Eligibility to work on-site in Dubai and flexibility to work extended hours when required to support clients.
