Duties

  • Lead and supervise daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, cooking, serving, and food handling to ensure smooth workflow and high-quality service.
  • Oversee and manage staff, including interviewing, hiring, training, and evaluating team members to foster a motivated and efficient workforce.
  • Maintain excellent customer service standards by addressing guest inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction.
  • Manage POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling procedures accurately.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and uphold hygiene standards across all kitchen and dining areas.
  • Assist in inventory management, ordering supplies, and controlling costs related to food and beverage operations.
  • Support restaurant management in implementing policies, procedures, and operational improvements.
  • Participate in food industry trends, menu development, and quality control initiatives to enhance the dining experience.
  • Supervise bartending activities where applicable, including barista services or hotel hospitality functions.
  • Lead by example in teamwork, leadership, and hospitality excellence to cultivate a positive work environment.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in food service or restaurant management with supervisory or team management responsibilities.
  • Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols.
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS; cash handling experience is essential.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs professionally.
  • Leadership qualities with experience in interviewing staff, training teams, and managing restaurant operations effectively.
  • Knowledge of food industry standards including food handling regulations and hospitality best practices.
  • Previous experience in restaurant management or hotel/hospitality industry preferred; bartending or barista experience is a plus.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills coupled with organizational abilities to oversee multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
