General Manager (Agriculture/Dates/Fruits/Farm)

A reputable and established agricultural enterprise, operating on a confidential basis, is seeking a highly experienced and strategic **General Manager (Agriculture/Dates/Fruits/Farm)** to lead their operations in **Riyadh, Saudi Arabia**.

This is a **full-time**, senior leadership position responsible for the overall management and commercial success of a large-scale farm specialising in date and fruit cultivation.

The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader with a profound understanding of modern agricultural practices, strong business acumen, and a proven track record of driving growth and operational excellence in the farming sector.

Provide strategic direction and leadership for all farm operations, ensuring alignment with the organisation's long-term goals.

Oversee the entire cultivation lifecycle, from planting and irrigation to pest control, harvesting, and post-harvest management.

Develop and manage annual budgets, control costs, and ensure the farm's profitability and financial sustainability.

Lead, mentor, and manage a diverse team of farm managers, agricultural specialists, and labourers to foster a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.

Implement and maintain the highest standards of quality control for all produce, particularly dates and fruits, to meet market and export standards.

Ensure all farm activities comply with local, national, and international agricultural regulations, as well as health and safety standards.

Drive the adoption of innovative farming technologies, sustainable practices, and modern irrigation techniques to enhance productivity and efficiency.

Manage supply chain logistics, inventory, and relationships with suppliers and vendors.

Prepare and present regular operational and financial performance reports to senior management or the board of directors.

A Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Horticulture, or a related discipline.

A Master's degree is highly desirable.

Extensive and demonstrable experience in a senior management role, such as General Manager or Farm Director, within a large-scale agricultural operation.

Specialised expertise in the cultivation of dates and other fruits is essential.

Strong financial literacy with proven experience in budget management, P&L responsibility, and financial reporting.

Exceptional leadership, team-building, and communication skills.

In-depth knowledge of the agricultural market and regulatory environment in Saudi Arabia or the wider GCC region.

A strategic mindset with the ability to solve complex problems and make effective decisions.

Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic would be a significant advantage.
