Launch and operations
- Lead launch timelines, milestones, vehicle readiness, depot and charging setup, driver onboarding, app readiness, and operational readiness.
- Coordinate complex launch workstreams and make launch decisions and trade-offs.
- Run marketplace dynamics, driver supply and earnings, customer experience, fleet and depot operations, and charging infrastructure.
- Own country revenue, unit economics, cost base, capital efficiency, and P&L; report performance and risks to senior leadership.
Team and partnerships
- Hire and lead the country team across commercial, operations, partnerships, finance, and HR; establish culture, standards, and operating rhythm.
- Build the team for future scale and regional expansion.
- Manage relationships with payment, charging, energy, insurance, fleet, service, and corporate partners.
- Represent the business with government, regulators, drivers, partners, and the public, with headquarters support in the early phase.
- Bring market feedback to headquarters and identify adjacent opportunities as the core business stabilizes.
Candidate requirements
- Deep UAE market knowledge and an established local network.
- Track record in a fast-paced, high-growth international company; technology, marketplace, ride-hailing, e-commerce, or on-demand platform experience is ideal.
- P&L ownership at scale and experience hiring and leading teams across commercial, operations, and corporate functions.
- Senior stakeholder management experience with regulators, government, large partners, or board-equivalent audiences.
- The description says the candidate should be based in or ready to relocate to Abidjan.
- Direct mobility, ride-hailing, marketplace, fintech, e-commerce, delivery, or logistics experience; country launch or scaling experience; consulting or startup background; and EV, charging, or fleet economics familiarity are advantages.
