General Laborer
Role Overview
The General Maintenance position is an entry-level role and is responsible for assisting with general tasks around the worksite.
This role requires minimum prior experience and serves as an introduction to the industry.
Under supervision, the helper may assist with minor preventative maintenance tasks and learn basic job functions.
The primary objective of this position is to assess the employee’s potential for long-term development within the company.

- Experience in maintenance, preferably within the around heavy equipment and machines. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities • Basic understanding of workplace safety and the ability to follow safety procedures • General awareness of tools and equipment used on-site • Willingness to learn mechanical and maintenance fundamentals • Exposure to preventative maintenance processes under supervision Other Requirements • Entry level mechanic, qualified to perform general utility work and light maintenance under supervision of experienced mechanic. • Knowledge of using a wide variety of hand and power tools, cutting torches and welding equipment. • Knowledge of electrical equipment maintenance. • Safety and compliance with MSHA procedures and requirements. • A valid driver's license.
