Job Description: Duties & Responsibilities

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist carpenters, painters, electricians, plumbers, gypsum workers, and other fit-out trades as required.
• Load, unload, transport, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment.
• Prepare work areas before the start of tasks and clean up after work is completed.
• Help with the installation of fit-out materials, furniture, fixtures, and equipment under supervision.
• Carry out basic manual labor tasks such as lifting, carrying, packing, and moving materials.
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping standards on project sites, workshops, and storage areas.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and site engineers to support project activities.
• Assist in receiving, checking, and storing materials and supplies.
• Ensure tools and equipment are kept in good condition and stored properly after use.
• Support site logistics and material handling activities.
• Follow company health, safety, and environmental procedures at all times.
• Report any unsafe conditions, damaged tools, or site issues to the supervisor immediately.
• Perform other duties assigned by management as required.

Requirements

• Previous experience in construction, interior fit-out, or a similar field is an advantage.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual labor tasks.
• Ability to work in a team environment and follow instructions.
• Basic understanding of workplace safety practices.
• Willingness to work flexible hours when required.
