The General Foreman supervises and coordinates daily construction activities on site.
The role ensures work is safe, efficient, and aligned with approved drawings, specifications, schedules, and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Diploma or relevant qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience as a General Foreman, Site Foreman, or similar construction supervisor.
- Requires knowledge of construction methods, drawings, specifications, site procedures, HSE, quality control, and construction standards.
- Requires worker and subcontractor supervision, drawing interpretation, leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily construction activities and the site workforce; allocate manpower, materials, tools, and equipment.
- Monitor progress against schedule and coordinate with site engineers, project managers, subcontractors, and site teams.
- Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and HSE requirements.
- Identify site issues and coordinate solutions; communicate daily progress and manpower updates.
- Maintain housekeeping and efficient use of materials and resources.
Compensation
- Pay is listed as AED 3,500–5,000 per month.
Workplace
- Work location is in person at a construction site in Dubai.
