Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and manage construction from project commencement to completion.
- Review drawings, specifications, contracts, schedules, and method statements; manage subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and site personnel.
- Monitor progress, milestones, manpower, materials, and equipment; maintain schedules and report progress to senior management and the client.
- Ensure work meets approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate clients, consultants, architects, engineers, authorities, inspections, progress meetings, and technical documentation.
- Control costs and assist with budgets, variations, and procurement; monitor risks, delays, and changes and implement solutions.
- Coordinate testing, commissioning, snagging, handover, and timely resolution of defects and outstanding works.
- Maintain accurate project records, reports, and documentation.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
- Three to five years of construction management experience, preferably in a similar role.
- Proven experience managing construction projects from start to completion.
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, drawings, specifications, project procedures, contracts, cost control, and scheduling.
- Experience managing subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and site teams.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and quality management systems.
- Proficiency in project management and scheduling software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.
- Relevant professional certification or engineering registration is advantageous.
Pay
- Pay is AED 7,500–AED 9,500 per month.
