GENERAL ACCOUNTING SENIOR ANALYST

Job Description

Job Responsibilities & Tasks

• Deploy departmental objectives and corrective actions set by the Accounting Manager and align direct reports accordingly.
• Generate monthly P&L, Balance Sheet, Trial Balance, and Cash Flow reports and submit them to the Accounting Manager for analysis and monthly closing.
• Issue a full Trial Balance Reconciliation Report monthly and submit it to the Accounting Manager.
• Review and pre-approve all transfer payments prepared by direct reports.
• Review and pre-approve daily cash transactions prepared by the Cashier.
• Communicate employee deductions and earnings with the payroll unit.
• Prepare the monthly expenses analysis report showing variances between actual, budgeted, and prior-year figures.
• Assist the Accounting Manager in yearly budget and strategic plan preparation.
• Prepare and reconcile prepaid accounts for insurance, rental, and maintenance on the ERP.
• Prepare the VAT report in coordination with the Accounting Manager and send it to the Central Tax Department.
• Prepare the withholding tax report and send it to the Accounting Manager for review and approval.

Requirements

• Experience generating monthly P&L, Balance Sheet, Trial Balance, and Cash Flow reports.
• Experience with full trial balance reconciliation and general accounting oversight.
• Ability to review and pre-approve transfer payments and daily cash transactions.
• Experience preparing VAT and withholding tax reports.
• Experience preparing and reconciling prepaid accounts on an ERP.
• Ability to prepare monthly expense analysis with actual, budgeted, and prior-year variances.
• Ability to support yearly budget and strategic plan preparation.
• Ability to align and oversee direct reports toward departmental objectives.
