Job Summary
Al Marwan Group is seeking a
General Accountant
with 4
-6 years of accounting experience in the UAE construction /heavy machinery or real estate industry
.
The ideal candidate must be with a strong understanding of
full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, and compliance with UAE regulations
.
This role requires expertise in
accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), reconciliations, taxation, and financial reporting
.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform
- full-cycle accounting
- , including journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
- Prepare and analyze
- financial statements.
- Manage
- accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)
- , ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Conduct
- bank reconciliations, cash flow management, and expense tracking
- .
- Assist in
- budget preparation, cost control, and financial forecasting
- .
- Support
- internal and external audits
- by providing necessary financial records and reports.
- Ensure
- compliance with UAE financial regulations and company policies
- .
Requirements
- **Education:**
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Accounting or equivalent.
- **Experience:**
Min 4
- years of accounting experience in a UAE-based in construction , heavy machinery or real estate.
- **Language:**
- Must be a
- fluent in English and Arabic
- .
- **Technical Knowledge:**
- Strong understanding of
- accounting principles, VAT regulations, and financial compliance
- .
- **Software Proficiency:**
Experience
with
accounting software and ERP systems
