About This Role
Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced General Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, financial records, invoicing, reconciliations, and reporting.
The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, VAT regulations, and UAE accounting practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle daily accounting and bookkeeping activities
- Prepare sales invoices, purchase entries, and expense records
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Prepare VAT reports and assist with VAT filing
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Monitor cash flow and petty cash transactions
- Assist in monthly and yearly financial reporting
- Coordinate with suppliers, clients, and auditors when required
- Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 2–4 years of accounting experience in UAE
- Knowledge of VAT filing and UAE accounting standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication and reporting skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Tally systems
- Experience in events, advertising, or general trading industry is an advantage
- Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
