General Accountant
Role Overview
The General Accountant, reporting to the Accounting Supervisor, supports the financial operations of the Scalo Companies by performing a range of accounting duties with a focus on accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, bank reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
The position requires strong analytical and communication skills, attention to detail, the ability to work independently with tight deadlines, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and a willingness to learn industry-specific accounting software.

Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Accounting or a related field
- 2 years’ experience in an accounting-related position
- Job costing experience
- Construction industry experience
- Experience in Sage 300 accounting software
