Accounting duties
- Manage daily accounting transactions, maintain records, handle AP/AR, and prepare journal entries for the general ledger.
- Perform bank reconciliations, resolve discrepancies, and maintain VAT records supporting UAE VAT compliance.
- Assist with monthly closing and financial reporting and ensure records are complete and accurate.
- Support internal and external audits by providing financial information and documentation.
- Use ERP/accounting software to monitor transactions, coordinate accounting processes, and follow company policies and UAE practices.
Candidate requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field is listed under requirements; the education section labels a bachelor's degree preferred.
- At least 2 years of accounting experience is requested and labeled preferred; service-industry experience is also preferred.
- Experience with AP/AR, ERP/accounting software, bank reconciliation, and the general ledger.
- Knowledge of UAE VAT and accounting practices, plus strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy; UAE experience is preferred.
- ACCA, CA, or CPA is an advantage.
Pay
- AED 3,500 to AED 4,000 per month is stated in the description; the structured salary field states AED 3,500 per month.
