General Accountant / Accounts Executive / GL Accountant

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Set business objectives, manage budgets, and monitor production performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Lead and develop cross-functional teams and establish operational policies.
• Coordinate with department heads in manufacturing, supply chain, sales, and finance.
• Evaluate market opportunities, drive process improvements, and build stakeholder relationships to support sustainable growth.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership, people management, team development, performance management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Strategic planning and business management experience, including setting goals, managing budgets, and tracking KPIs.
• Operations and manufacturing management experience, with familiarity with production workflows and quality systems; plastics or related-industry experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Problem-solving and decision-making ability focused on process improvement, efficiency, and risk management.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations relevant to industrial manufacturing.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field; an advanced degree is an advantage.
• Proficiency with office productivity and planning tools, such as spreadsheets, presentations, or ERP systems.
• Ability to work on-site in Qesm 1st Shubra El Kheima and adapt to a fast-paced industrial environment.
