This role is for a skilled Unity game developer to create a full-featured 3D educational simulation game centered on sustainable housing and smart home decision-making.
The project involves building a city environment where players can explore, make financial and environmental choices, customize homes with sustainable features, interact with NPCs, complete missions, and manage resources.
The goal is to deliver an engaging, visually appealing, and educational experience that encourages players to learn about eco-friendly living through interactive gameplay.
The ideal candidate will transform an existing prototype into a polished, professional product with enhanced graphics, robust gameplay systems, and a refined user interface.
Deliverables
- Develop a complete 3D simulation game in Unity based on provided prototype and concept
- Design and implement city environments, interactive NPCs, and mission systems
- Create customizable housing options with a variety of sustainable features
- Integrate financial management and eco point systems for player progression
- Develop engaging UI/UX for seamless player interaction and navigation
- Optimize game performance for smooth play across target platforms
- Collaborate on refining gameplay mechanics, progression, and educational content
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure a stable, high-quality release
Requirements
- Proven experience developing 3D games in Unity, with a strong portfolio of completed projects
- Expertise in C# programming and Unity’s game development pipeline
- Strong skills in 3D modeling, asset integration, and environment design
- Experience designing mission systems, NPC interactions, and player progression mechanics
- Ability to create intuitive, visually appealing UI/UX
- Knowledge of sustainable housing concepts or willingness to research and implement educational content
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management abilities
- Availability to work independently or as part of a remote team
- Commitment to delivering a polished, professional product within project timelines
