Mid-level role focused on furniture product development, manufacturing, sourcing, and product analysis.
Collects and analyzes product data, identifies gaps and opportunities, and prepares structured reports for management.
Responsibilities
- Analyze furniture specifications, pricing, materials, construction, and quality.
- Track product listings, pricing, trends, and market opportunities; study catalogs and new market items.
- Identify product gaps, improvement opportunities, and market trends.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and pre-fair reports with observations and recommendations.
- Suggest product improvements, new ideas, and cost or design optimizations.
- Travel for factory visits, sourcing research, fairs, and supplier meetings.
Requirements
- Mid-level experience in furniture, manufacturing, sourcing, or product analysis.
- Strong understanding of furniture construction, materials, and production processes.
- Strong analytical, observation, and reporting skills; proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and online research tools.
- CAD, design, or sketching capability is required.
- Willingness to travel frequently across Asia; organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and self-driven.
Preferred background
- A background in industrial design, product design, or engineering is preferred.
Compensation
- Full-time position paying AED 5,000–6,000 per month.
Workplace
- Work location is in person; frequent travel across Asia is expected.
