Fund Accounting &/ or Reporting Analyst

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Compute and reconcile NAV, income accruals and NAV movements.
• Review bank and holdings reconciliations and resolve breaks.
• Process and verify daily trades in the system.
• Value and price securities and coordinate trade matters with clients.
• Coordinate unit capital files with registrars and process them in the system.
• Monitor trade and custody instructions received by email.
• Compute income equalisation and distributable surplus.
• Compute and disseminate NAV to the press and registrars.
• Scrutinise trial balances and coordinate audits through account finalisation.

Skills and Experience

• 3–4 years of experience.
• Knowledge of mutual fund accounting and operations.
• Understanding of capital, financial and derivative markets.
• Understanding of valuation tools and methodologies.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
