Fullstack Developer II

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Use Agile methods to develop and maintain applications for business departments.
• Work with customers and Business Analysts to develop user stories and storyboards.
• Develop interfaces between enterprise systems and in-house applications.
• Create reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
• Provide user manuals and initial training to end users.
• Perform developer testing and support QA Analysts with documented test plans.
• Evaluate procedures for regulatory compliance.
• Support requirements elaboration, application design and development, integration, production turnover, and end-user documentation.

Education and experience

• Meet one pathway: bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent plus 3–5 years' experience; associate's degree in Computer Science or equivalent plus 5–7 years; or high school diploma plus 7–9 years.
• At least 3–5 years of hands-on full-stack development with C#, ASP.NET MVC, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL data manipulation, and secure coding.
• Demonstrated success across all SDLC phases.
• Strong oral and written communication and teamwork skills in a highly matrixed project environment.

Technical competencies

• Agile delivery, business requirements analysis, user-story decomposition, and full-stack web development.
• Enterprise application and data integration, SQL manipulation, and SSRS reporting.
• Secure coding, software quality assurance, traceable testing, and production readiness.
• Technical writing, user documentation, initial training, and cross-functional collaboration.

Work schedule

• Work up to 40 hours per week according to the assigned schedule; SRS holidays are excluded from the workweek.
• Each workday includes a 30-minute lunch period.

Workplace

• Work location is onsite at Savannah River Site in Aiken, South Carolina.
• Security clearance is not required.
