Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Programming, or MBA with 18 graduate hours in Networking, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or Information Systems.
- If potential candidate has an out-of-field degree, the candidate must be credentialed with documentation in two or more of the following areas as outlined by ACBSP:
- In-field professional certification
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience professional employment
- High performing student learning outcome results
- In-field scholarship
- Relevant additional training equivalent to 18 semester-credit-hours of CEU’s, military training, vendor training, etc.
- Ability to communicate networking and programming principles and practice.
- College level teaching experience.
Preferred qualifications
- CISCO CCNA or CCNP, Devnet Associate, EC-Council Certified Ethical Hacker, CompTIA Security+, ISACA or other Cybersecurity certifications are welcome.
