Responsibilities

• Manage Magento 2 website operations, configurations, updates, enhancements, troubleshooting, bug fixes, performance optimization, security updates, and maintenance.
• Update website content and support promotional campaigns and landing pages; coordinate with internal teams, clients, and external development partners.
• Develop responsive websites, landing pages, and microsites; implement front-end and back-end functionality, reusable components, and interactive features.
• Integrate APIs and third-party services; ensure cross-browser compatibility, mobile responsiveness, performance, and clean reusable code.
• Support interactive web applications, product configurators, and digital simulators; build dynamic interfaces and integrate APIs, databases, and external systems.
• Assess technical feasibility and effort; test, debug, and deploy digital solutions.
• Provide technical support across projects; coordinate with project and account managers, designers, and vendors.
• Support QA testing, UAT, and production deployments; keep technical documentation, issue logs, and progress updates; complete assigned work on schedule and escalate critical issues and risks.

Required technical skills

• E-commerce platforms: Magento 2 or Adobe Commerce, PHP, and MySQL.
• Front-end: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive web design; React.js or Vue.js knowledge.
• Back-end: PHP, database management, and REST API integrations; Git version control.
• Basic understanding of AWS, Linux environments, and deployment processes.
• Browser developer tools, API testing, troubleshooting, caching, website security, and performance optimization.

Preferred skills

• Interactive web application and product configurator development experience.
• Figma familiarity and ability to convert UI/UX designs into functional websites.
• Knowledge of third-party API integrations and payment gateways.
• Familiarity with Nginx, CDN, WAF, and website hosting environments; understanding of technical SEO and analytics implementation.
• Experience in a digital agency, e-commerce company, or technology service provider.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Four or more years of hands-on web development experience and practical Magento 2 development and maintenance experience.
• Experience supporting live websites and resolving technical issues; exposure to multiple web development projects is preferred.
• Arabic is mandatory, with strong verbal communication for Arabic-speaking clients and stakeholders.
• English is mandatory, with good written and verbal communication for technical documentation, reporting, and internal coordination.
• Able to handle assigned tasks independently, support multiple projects, manage priorities, communicate with stakeholders, and maintain quality and ownership.

Performance expectations

• Keep assigned websites stable and reliable and resolve technical issues within agreed timelines.
• Deliver development tasks according to requirements and schedules while maintaining website quality, security, and performance.
• Support successful delivery of digital platform and web development projects and provide proper documentation and regular progress updates.
