Full Stack Software Engineer in the Engineering team, working on core platform and services in the FinTech industry.
The role focuses on platform scalability and performance, new functionality, and automation and improvement of development processes.
The team builds core business products and tools for provisioning, configuration, CI/CD, monitoring, service-level agreements, performance, and uptime.
Responsibilities
- Develop client- and server-side software for highly available services, primarily through APIs.
- Design, implement, and ship products for internal and external stakeholders.
- Deliver secure, scalable, testable, readable, high-quality, and documented software.
- Apply agile practices including code reviews, sprint planning, pair programming, and daily stand-ups.
- Evaluate new technologies and initiatives and provide L3 support for production and critical issues.
- Write, test, and deploy code multiple times per day; work with technology teams in different countries.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of experience building scalable microservice-architecture applications from the ground up.
- Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in one or more of Golang, Perl, or Python; Golang is preferred.
- Proficiency with front-end languages and libraries such as HTML/CSS and JavaScript.
- Experience with Vue.js or similar JavaScript libraries/frameworks, relational databases, and full-stack web and API development.
- Interest in FinTech and market innovations; motivated, curious, and eager to learn.
