Full Stack / Platform Engineer (Python, React, AWS)

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services supporting AI-powered compliance workflows, transcription, search, analytics, and user-facing applications Build and enhance modern web applications using React and TypeScript Develop and maintain REST APIs and microservices architecture supporting platform integrations and data pipelines Build, deploy, and support containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes Develop and maintain AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code practices, including AWS CDK Partner with Product, Compliance, Data Science, and Engineering teams to deliver innovative platform capabilities Design and optimize data storage solutions using PostgreSQL and related technologies Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support reliable and efficient software delivery Contribute to automated testing and quality engineering practices using technologies such as Selenium, Playwright, and TypeScript-based automation frameworks Troubleshoot production issues and drive platform scalability, reliability, and performance improvements Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to the future direction of the Research Compliance Solutions platform Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and help drive architecture and design decisions across the platform To Qualify for the Role, You Must Have Strong professional experience developing applications with Python Experience building modern web applications using React and TypeScript Experience developing and supporting microservices-based architectures Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized application development Experience deploying and supporting applications in AWS cloud environments Experience working with Kubernetes and container orchestration platforms Strong knowledge of API design and development Experience working with relational databases, including PostgreSQL Experience designing scalable software solutions, APIs, and distributed systems in a cloud-native environment Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills Experience working within Agile software development environments Skills and Attributes for Success Experience building cloud-native SaaS applications Understanding of scalable distributed systems and event-driven architectures Familiarity with AI-enabled applications, data pipelines, or machine learning-powered platforms Strong collaboration and communication skills Ability to work across backend, frontend, cloud infrastructure, and testing disciplines Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and contribute to architectural decisions Passion for automation, quality, and continuous improvement Ability to balance innovation with reliability in regulated environments Self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment Nice to Have AWS CDK (TypeScript) Amazon EKS Redis or Valkey Selenium Playwright CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins Experience supporting AI, NLP, transcription, chat, search, or compliance-related platforms Experience working within financial services, compliance, surveillance, or regulatory technology environments
