Full Stack Engineer

Position summary

Engineering and delivery

• Design, implement, test, and ship end-to-end features across backend and frontend.
• Develop Java/Spring Boot or Python backend services, including Temporal workflows, and expose documented REST APIs.
• Build React interfaces with attention to usability, accessibility, and performance.
• Model and query MySQL NDB Cluster, MariaDB Galera, and PostgreSQL using efficient, correct SQL.
• Integrate payment partners and internal services with appropriate retries, timeouts, and idempotency.
• Write tests, review code, and collaborate with Product, QA, Support, and DevOps using Jira and Confluence.
• Monitor and troubleshoot systems with Grafana, Prometheus, and ELK; fix issues at their root.

Qualifications and experience

• 6+ years building and shipping production web applications as a full-stack developer, or strong backend experience with solid frontend experience.
• BSc in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong Java or Python backend experience building RESTful APIs and microservices; solid React, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS experience.
• Proficiency in SQL and comfort with relational databases; understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and RESTful architectures.
• Experience with Git-based workflows and CI/CD; comfort with containers and Kubernetes deployment.
• Analytical full-stack troubleshooting skills and excellent written and verbal English.
• Experience in fintech, payments, wallets, or another regulated, high-availability transactional domain.
• Familiarity with Temporal or similar workflow orchestration and event-driven systems such as Kafka; awareness of secure handling of sensitive customer and financial data.
