Full Stack Engineer

Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Own software engineering from design and development through deployment, monitoring, and production maintenance.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and cross-functional stakeholders to shape feature requirements around business and user needs.
• Lead architecture decisions to ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with industry practices.
• Establish monitoring, alerting, and support processes for feature reliability and responsiveness.
• Mentor junior developers and foster ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Review code to uphold quality, security, and performance standards; troubleshoot production issues and participate in incident response.
• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Python, Flask, FastAPI, AWS, Angular, and SQL databases.
• Optimize performance, resolve complex technical issues, and advocate for useful emerging technologies.

Required qualifications

• At least five years of professional software engineering experience and a track record of end-to-end production feature ownership and delivery.
• Familiarity with modern frameworks, cloud platforms, and CI/CD pipelines supporting full-lifecycle engineering.
• Ability to turn business requirements into scalable, maintainable technical solutions.
• Experience managing development and operational aspects of software, focusing on performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders, and a proactive improvement mindset.
• Prior senior-role experience mentoring or guiding team members.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
