Full Stack Developer – Python, FastAPI/Django, ReactJS & UX/UI

Role overview

Required experience

• 7–10 years of professional experience in full-stack development, software engineering, or a closely related role.
• Extensive engineering experience in asset management or broader financial services.
• Strong Python, FastAPI or Django, REST API, ReactJS, and UX/UI experience.
• Experience delivering scalable and secure production technology solutions.
• A relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience may be considered.

Technical skills

• Python, JavaScript, FastAPI or Django, and ReactJS.
• RESTful services, API integrations, request validation, error handling, and service documentation.
• Database integration, data modeling, querying, transactions, indexing, and data integrity.
• Cloud or enterprise deployment, cloud security, availability, monitoring, and access management.
• Secure coding, authentication, authorization, role-based access, encryption, privacy, and auditability.
• Source control, code reviews, defect tracking, build processes, and software testing.
• Agile or iterative development and full software development lifecycle practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack applications and secure RESTful services.
• Translate business and user requirements into technical designs and intuitive user experiences.
• Create responsive and accessible ReactJS interfaces and reusable components.
• Collaborate with product, business, design, architecture, QA, data, and technology teams.
• Contribute to estimation, code reviews, testing, release planning, production support, and defect resolution.
• Apply secure engineering practices and support financial services technology expectations.
• Own assigned work, communicate risks, and deliver outcomes within agreed timelines.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with investment, portfolio, trading, risk, reporting, or other financial services workflows.
• Experience with TypeScript, modern React patterns, state management, responsive design, and accessibility.
• Experience with automated testing, cloud deployment, containers, and continuous delivery.
• Experience with design systems, usability testing, wireframing, prototyping, or user research.
• Relevant certifications or formal training are preferred but not mandatory unless required for an assignment.
