Job Description – ServiceNow Developer (GRC & SecOps)

Role Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support ServiceNow GRC and SecOps solutions.
• Configure and customize Risk Management, Policy & Compliance Management, Audit Management, Vulnerability Response (VR), and Security Incident Response (SIR).
• Configure and manage risk indicators, controls, compliance monitoring, and dashboards.
• Integrate ServiceNow with vulnerability scanners, SIEM platforms, and security tools.
• Develop workflows, business rules, client scripts, Flow Designer solutions, and API integrations.
• Automate security and compliance processes across the organization.
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity, Risk, Compliance, and IT teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Support platform enhancements, upgrades, testing, and production deployments.

Required Skills & Experience

• 4+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
• Strong experience in ServiceNow CIS - Risk & Compliance and/or CIS - Vulnerability Response / Security Incident Response (SIR).
• Experience with indicators and risk scoring, policy and compliance management, vulnerability management, and security incident management.
• Experience with scanner integrations (Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7, etc.).
• Experience with SIEM integrations (Splunk, QRadar, Microsoft Sentinel, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, REST APIs, Integration Hub, and ServiceNow platform development.
• Good understanding of GRC and cybersecurity frameworks.

Mandatory Certifications

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) - Mandatory.
• ServiceNow CIS - Risk & Compliance - Mandatory for GRC-focused candidates.
• ServiceNow CIS - Vulnerability Response - Mandatory for SecOps-focused candidates.
• ServiceNow CIS - Security Incident Response (SIR) - Preferred / Mandatory for SIR specialist.
