Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Design and develop modern web applications and responsive user interfaces.
• Develop RESTful APIs, backend services, and cloud-native microservices.
• Integrate geospatial services and enterprise APIs.
• Build automated testing pipelines and support CI/CD deployments.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production systems.
• Gather and document customer requirements, data mapping, and integration needs.
• Assist with integration solutions and facilitate communication between stakeholders.
• Document processes, procedures, integration patterns, and lessons learned.

Key Technologies

• AWS services include S3, Lambda, SQS, SNS, ECS, ECR, EKS, API Gateway, CloudWatch, and KMS.
• Frontend technologies include JavaScript, React, Angular, HTML5, and CSS3.
• DevOps technologies include Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, GitLab, Harbor, CloudFormation, CDK, Terraform, and Linux.
• Backend and data technologies include Aurora, PostgreSQL/PostGIS, Oracle Spatial, Redis, Memcached, ElastiCache, GDAL/OGR, and storage systems.
• The role involves APIs, data mapping, file transfers, containers, serverless environments, dashboards, metrics, IAM, and least-privilege access.

Required Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with eligibility for a CI Poly.
• Experience in software development, system integration, or technical support at the stated junior through principal experience bands.
• Experience working with customers or stakeholders in a technical or mission environment.
• Strong communication, coordination, requirements documentation, task management, Agile, and GitLab experience.

Desired Qualifications

• Secure data movement, enterprise service processes, scripting, data mapping, operational dashboards, and system integration experience are desirable.
• Cloud-native applications, microservices, geospatial applications, mapping frameworks, GDAL, and Intelligence Community customer experience are desirable.
