Internship overview

The RiseUp Internship Program gives students and recent graduates hands-on project experience and opportunities to learn and grow.

The Full-Stack AI Engineering Intern will explore enterprise AI applications, generative AI, and LLMs for business operations.

What you'll do

  • Complete onboarding and learn about enterprise systems and ongoing AI initiatives.
  • Build cross-department relationships and understand business challenges and AI opportunities.
  • Develop AI-powered prototypes, proofs of concept, and tools for existing workflows.
  • Contribute to prompt-engineering strategies and AI model integrations.
  • Evaluate AI performance against business KPIs and user satisfaction metrics.
  • Present findings and explain complex AI concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Strong interest in enterprise AI applications and familiarity with LLMs such as ChatGPT or Claude.
  • Familiarity with Python, Next.js, Docker, and full-stack technologies.
  • Basic understanding of prompt engineering and proficiency in at least one programming language; JavaScript is preferred.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, changing environment, with problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong communication.
  • Understanding of business processes and enterprise software systems is a bonus.
