Role overview

The AI Applications DevOps Intern supports deployment and operation of AI applications on AWS.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for AI deployment on AWS.
  • Help automate LLM application deployment and testing workflows with AI development co-ops.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot cloud-based AI systems using CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and other tools.
  • Support Docker containerization and AWS ECS/EKS deployment for machine-learning applications.
  • Help implement infrastructure as code with CloudFormation or Terraform.

Basic qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Basic understanding of cloud computing and AWS services such as EC2, S3, and Lambda.
  • Familiarity with at least one programming language; JavaScript is preferred.
  • Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience with Docker is preferred.
  • Azure AI Foundry or Google Cloud Platform experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with GitHub Actions or AWS CodePipeline is preferred.
  • DevOps, cloud computing, or machine-learning coursework or projects are preferred.
  • AWS certifications or training, including training in progress, are nice to have.
