SEA seeks internationally recognized researchers for Full Professor positions in education.
The role contributes to a research-intensive environment advancing educational knowledge, policy, and practice locally, regionally, and internationally.
Qualifications and experience
- A PhD in education from a recognized and reputable university is required.
- Candidates must hold Full Professor rank and have at least ten years of service at that level.
- Applicants need a distinguished academic and research record aligned with SEA’s priorities and evidence of sustained academic leadership.
Research profile
- Candidates should demonstrate sustained research excellence, high-impact scholarship, citation impact, competitive funding, international collaboration, and research leadership.
- Relevant fields include educational leadership, teacher education, early childhood, inclusive education, educational technology and AI, curriculum, assessment, and policy.
- Research impact may include a strong Scopus h-index, m-index or equivalent, and substantial Q1/Q2 Scopus-indexed publications.
- Grant success, journal editorial or reviewing service, and supervision or mentoring experience are among the cited indicators of research excellence.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and lead an internationally recognized research program aligned with SEA’s strategic priorities.
- Conduct rigorous original research and maintain a sustained program of scholarly activity with demonstrable impact.
- Publish in leading peer-reviewed journals and produce other scholarly outputs, including books and policy reports where appropriate.
- Contribute to peer review, editorial service, competitive research proposals, and securing external research funding.
- Build international research partnerships, strengthen SEA’s reputation, and develop research capacity among faculty and researchers.
