FSQA Coordinator (Overnights)

Snapshot of a Day-in-the-Life:
Support the execution of site environmental program (EMP).
Support the execution of site Pre-Operational Monitoring Program
Support the investigation and management of food safety and quality incidents, including tracing affected product and collaborating with cross-functional teams to coordinate containment, corrective actions and product disposition.
Coordinate and ensure proper execution of Hold and Release program.
Conduct CCP and/or prerequisite training and other Food Safety Training.
Maintain GMP Training presentations and CCP presentations.
Execute NCR's.
Investigate customer and consumer complaints.
Support and/or deliver FSQA training.
Assist with construction activities and planning of environmental monitoring.
Support and/or coordinate equipment calibrations (MDs, thermometers, datatracers, etc.).
Participate in meetings and projects as required.
Provide back up support to FSQA Technician.
What You’ll Bring:
University degree or college diploma preferably in Chemistry, Microbiology, Food Science or a related discipline.
2 to 3 years of experience in a technical role at a food manufacturing facility.
Proven ability to analyze data and provide recommendations.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Superior systems skills (including MS Office).
Excellent organizational and planning skills with strong attention to detail.
Willingness to learn and teach others.
Proven alignment to the Maple Leaf Leadership Values.
