About This Role
We are looking for a professional and welcoming Receptionist to be the first point of contact for a governmental entity. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing front desk operations, delivering exceptional customer service, and supporting day-to-day administrative functions. Applicants must be Nationals or Adults of Emirati Nationals.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome visitors, clients, and staff in a professional and friendly manner.
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls and emails to the appropriate departments.
- Manage the front desk area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and presentable at all times
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, courier deliveries, and packages.
- Provide general administrative support including filing, data entry, and document preparation.
- Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders as required.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and escalate when necessary.
- Monitor and manage office supplies inventory and coordinate replenishment
Requirements & Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience and knowledge in customer service and client handling.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills β both verbal and written.
- Professional appearance and demeanor with a friendly and approachable attitude.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- High level of discretion and confidentiality.
- Fluency in Arabic & English is required; knowledge of other languages is an advantage.
